Hashtags...Let's Talk About Twitter Hashtags! :) (Random Blog)

So I thought this blog would be fun and random. Since i don't have anything big NASCAR related to write  I thought i'd talk about Twitter and those lovely #hashtags you see everyone use all the time. Some common one are "#justsayin" or even "#random". Anyone can make a hashtag, TRUE it may be too long to get trending, but it still can just be plain fun! Everyday on Twitter people make ones, use some, or just like to RT some. As in today when i was just on Twitter i saw people making tags for the Basketball Madness.. since today is Selection Sunday.. anyway, i am going to share some of the hashtags i have created over time, and some i like.. this blog is for sheer fun and enjoyment! :P

So I always thought these hashtags were pretty cool. I even one day tweeted "There are these stupid flies in my room and i want to kill them all #dieflydie" and just did that and had fun. Well NASCAR rolled back into town and i thought i'd make some fun hashtags for that. It all started with one.... that hashtag is #redbulltastic. I love this very tag because i love red bull and thought i'd make something people could use anytime. Soon after this tag came "#redbulldrunks" "#redbullsista" "#redbulladdicts" all floated around.. i liked it and thought it was good we were having so much fun. Scott Sped made a shirt that said "Speed for hire" on it so i thought "hey a hashtag!". A so #Speed4Hire and #SpeedForHire were born. A lot of love was put into those tags.

Some of the other tags i did were:
* #baynetastic-in honor of T-Bayne winning the 500 and being the youngest driver to do it :)
* #austintastic3-for ashley and for all those austin dillon lovers! <3
* #kbtastic- for each and every single Kyle Busch Fan.. (myself included)
* #kahnetastic-we got to use this one a lot last night :) For all KK fans
* #kahnefever-cause a lot of girls tend to get this from him :P LOL
ETC.. there are so many more hastags i have created... but i cannot remember them all! Now here are some i just like to use that are downright funny!
* #anyonebutjimmie-too funny for NASCAR we used last year so much :)
* #random-because i tend to say a lot of random stuff
* #NSN3D-Ummm Justin Bieber got a tag?? For his movie?? HA!
*#dieflydie-as you saw above :)
ETC... there are so many that are funny and you just wanna use so much!

So there's just a taste of some fun twitter action that goes on. From food tags, to NASCAR tags, to Bieber tags, to other tags.. they come far and wide. I thought i'd show some of you the tags that people use or like to see a lot. This blog once again was for sheer fun and i thought making a random blog would be fun, yet still ties a little to NASCAR. Cannot wait to blog for Bristol this upcoming weekend... until then.. SEE YA :)

Darlington: "Too Tough To Tame?" For Kahne NO WAY! Kahne Came.. He Saw.. and He Conquered "The Lady in Black"

Welcome back to my blog! Sorry for not posting in a while, just had writer's block and haven't had any new drivers i really wanna spotlight at the moment. We will be heading to Bristol next weekend for some sure high and flying fun with what i can say will probably be a lot of wrecking too. This was  an Off-Weekend for NASCAR nationwide and sprint cup, but NOT for TRUCKS.  I was about to miss this race, yet was able to view the entire thing. Let me tell you I am sure glad i DVRd this race, it is one to watch over and over again. "The Lady In Black" is Darlington's famous notice, fans and drivers talk about how tough this track is on the drivers and many wrecks occur, well 10 cautions came out tonight, lots of bumper action, wall smashing fun. A lot of drivers had a tough break for this race, others were just hoping they would be spared. One of those drivers got out of the "messy-ness" and ended up in Victory Lane. He has had 4 starts in the Trucks Series and now won 3 out of 4 races, he came second to Elliot Sadler one year at this very track. If you don't know who i am talking about then let me give one more hint: HE MAKES GIRLS GO CRAZY! yes, that would be no one else than Kasey Kahne, who drove the #18 of Kyle Busch Motorsports to Victory Lane this evening.

Many truck drivers are out to go and win, with the desire and passion, no matter how tough the track is. Cole Whitt, who poled the race, did overall well only had a few slip-ups the entire race. Elliot Sadler, Todd Bodine, Joey Coulter, Johanna Long, Ricky Carmichael, and many others went into this race, and had to be prepared for just about anything. A lot of drivers felt "the lady in black" come get them. Even Johanna and Ricky had a tough crash that had a red flag come out to clean up all the mess. A couple debris cautions came out as well, as us NASCAR fans know, these debris cautions are quiet frequent. Multiple pit stops later, all the drivers were on their last tires and had to go for it. Kasey Kahne only went in for four tires and fuel, he had a wicked good car and did not want to ruin it.

Well as we dropped into the last 20 laps, i could feel the intensity increasing. Todd Bodine soon crept up to Kasey Kahne and got extremely close to passing him multiple times. As usual we had a caution that would then take us to only 3 laps remaining. The broadcasters on Speed TV asked Todd what his plan was and all he told them was they had to get past Kahne in order to bring home the victory. They even talked to Kasey and he said the car was good and they were going to do their absolute best in these last final laps.  Fans all over Twitter were praying and hoping that Kasey Kahne would be taking the lady in black out, instead of her taking him down...... it happened.

Kasey won, with a incredible run on the last double-file restart. He was able to get around Bodine and go and snatch the victory. I know i was one of many happy fans who was cheering and screaming at there TV when this event happened.  A joyful Kahne, got out of his car with a smile on his face. He had wanted to come into the weekend and win, that happened. Kasey lead 96 laps overall, he finished strong and brought home a trophy for Kyle Busch Motorsports. Samantha Busch and Kyle Busch were beyond happy to see Kahne take the #18 into VL. A Happy night for KK fans, and a good night for the other drivers. While many drivers failed to the "Lady in Black", Kahne was able to take her out to a movie, dinner, and get her back home before midnight. He stepped up and showed tremendous effort, this win was well deserved.  Congrats to Kasey Kahne, Kyle and Samantha Busch and Kyle Busch Motorsports!

I asked some fans what they thought of Darlington or even just thought of KK's win today... here are the responses i obtained...
TripleKFan4918 said "I love him and he deserved that win! I think it was a confidence booster."
I love this insight.. so true. This was probably a huge confidence booster for Kasey to take with him into next weekend at Bristol! Thanks for the insight!

denver2u
said ".Kasey showed that if he has good equipment, he can drive the tires off of it, and isn't afraid to do so..Great win.!!"

It was a great win! KK worked his butt off to obtain this victory and get that #18 into VL. Thanks for your insight :)
denver2u also said " I think Cole Witt drove a darned good race..not sure where he finished..( too busy cheering KK)"
I agree Cole did awesome for all the trouble he had, he had a nice red bull truck, he will get them next time!

These were the only two responses i got, but i knew from the happiness on Twitter, many fans were extremely happy with the outcome of the race. I know i was happy and it was one heck of a good NASCAR Truck Race. All i can say is on to Bristol where we will be back to Trucks, Nationwide, and Cup again! Until then keep on enjoying the weekend and have a wonderful night!

Here are some comments from Whitt, Kahne, and Bodine from nascar.com

"I gave it a shot and got sucked around and got loose and all that and finished third," Bodine said.

"This is one of my favorite race tracks," said Kahne, who qualified second and led four times for 96 of the 147 laps. "I'm really glad I came. I really enjoy driving this thing." Kahne said.

Whitt, 19, was making his fourth career Truck Series start, his first at Darlington.
"The track just kind of suited my driving style, and from the get-go we just kind of fell into the rhythm," Whitt said.
Some very nice statements from all the guys on how the race was! :)

Eating Doughnuts while Doing Doughnuts with Kyle Rowdy Busch Driver of M&M's 18 Toyota Camry

I've done a couple drivers so far in this 2011 season that have been fan favorites, the type that make fans go "He's so awesome and sweet" and more. Today though i am doing a driver where some fans hate him, others love him and some are just in between! I am talking about ROWDY BUSCH. I have been talking to many other fans and they are very excited to see this article. I warn you ahead of time there is going to be negative and positive talk about kyle. Please do not take offense to any of this, this is fan opinion, and my own. I am Kyle Busch fan myself so this article is very fun to write myself! So you ready?? let's go do some doughnuts while eating doughnuts with Kyle Busch!!!
So I cannot actually go eat doughnuts with Kyle Busch, but hey let's enjoy this blog lol!!!

Time for some good Wiki Information for any who read who are really unsure of who Kyle Busch is:

Kyle Thomas Busch (born May 2, 1985) is an American NASCAR driver and team owner. He currently drives the #18 Mars/Interstate Batteries Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Sprint Cup Series, the #18 Z-Line Designs/NOS Energy Drink Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs in the Nationwide Series, and the #18 Toyota Tundrafor his own team, Kyle Busch Motorsports, in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
He currently holds the record for most NASCAR wins in a season between the top three NASCAR series with 21 wins, which he accomplished in 2008. He also is the only NASCAR driver to win races in two of its national touring series on the same day, winning the Camping World Truck Series and Nationwide Series races held on February 21, 2009. On August 21, 2010, Busch became the first driver to win in all three of NASCAR's top three touring series in the same weekend (Bristol).
Busch is also only the second driver to ever win on his birthday, winning the 2009 Crown Royal Presents the Russell Friedman 400 at Richmond International Raceway, which was run on his 24th birthday. Cale Yarborough was the first.
He is the younger brother of 2004 Nextel Cup Series champion Kurt Busch.

]Kyle Busch's first driving lessons came at the age of 6 when he drove around the cul-de-sac of his family's Las Vegas neighborhood in a makeshift go-kart. Although he was too small to reach the throttle, Busch still was able to pick up the basics from his father Tom, who controlled the gas pedal as his young son steered the kart. Throughout his childhood, Busch spent many hours as an apprentice to his father and older brother Kurt in the family garage learning to build and repair race cars. By the age of 10, he was a full-fledged mechanic and served as crew chief of his older brother's dwarf car team.

In 1998, shortly after his 13th birthday, Busch's driving career officially began. From 1999 through 2001, Busch earned more than 65 wins in legends car racing as he racked up two track championships at Las Vegas Motor Speedway's "Bullring" before moving to late models. He captured 10 victories in late model competition at the Bullring in 2001.[1]
He is often nicknamed "Shrub", since he is the younger brother of NASCAR driver Kurt Busch and a small bush is called a shrub.[3]

Phew! We made it sorry for the long detail on Kyle, but  i know some people don't know really where he started before entering NASCAR. Anyway we are now going to go into stats then do fan opinion, my final thoughts and that's it! :P If you want more information on Mr. Kyle then go to wikipedia or his website (links will be posted at the bottom). Time for some stats shall we? :)

Trucks Series: 10 poles, 67 top tens, and 25 wins
Nationwide Series: 21 poles, 132 top tens, and 44 wins
Spring Cup Series: 7 poles, 104 top tens, and 19 wins

  • Also he swept at bristol last year in 2010 and that was history making, Kyle has also made some other major movements in the history for NASCAR. Even fans who don't care for Kyle can still say it's pretty impressive to see so much accomplished in such a short amount of time!
  • Beyond winning all the time, Kyle does make time for fans and everything else. He got married to Samantha Sarcinella on December 31st in 2010. A wedding to remember and truly a special moment for them. Congrats on wedding! :) Kyle also makes time for his love and hating fans no matter what, you could say the KB SHOW is running around a lot doing some pretty awesome things!
  • Now.... on to some fan opinions! Please note these are fan views so no going and bashing on these people.. don't bash or i will kick your butt lol just kidding or am I?

@racejunkie48 Said: " KB...what can I say about him..drives the wheels off of the cars..good driver, just wins way too much..."
I get that 100%! I can see where it does get a bit annoying for one driver to win all the time. Thanks for the insight!

@kaseykahnefan4 Said: "ok. Lol i think he is a good driver and all but i think he is a big cry baby.#sorrykylebuschfans #itsmyopinion"
Thank you for being so honest! It means a lot to fans to hear what they feel! Thanks for your input! :)

@britt4918 Said: "i love both of them. True Talents. I love how Kyle has matured over the past three years"
I get this so much! Thank you for talking about KK and KB. It's true you have seen a lot of growth in Kyle over the years! ^_^

@Jess4JRNation Said: "My opinion of Kb is he could be a greater driver if he wasn't so stupid aggressive all the time & think more about safety"
So true! Sometimes being aggressive is okay, but getting too much can turn into a bad thing! :) Thanks for your insight

@kadyleeanne326 Said: "I LOVE KYLE BUSCH!!"
My favorite comment by far! Thanks for the insight Kady! :D

Well that is some fan opinions and i agree with them all and appreciate them taking the time to answer my question on how they viewed Kyle Busch. Time for some of my opinions on Mr. Kyle and then we will wrap this sucker up. My views on Kyle Busch are that Kyle is a great driver and has a awesome BADASS personality. Yet i do agree with many saying I'd like to see someone else win a couple times here and there, but overall Kyle is a good driver and makes fans go crazy so that is THE KB SHOW for you! Also i'd like to say that even when Kyle Busch is flipping off people or doing something else crazy his fans will support and watch him light up at any track! Good luck in the 2011 season!

Sorry again for the Wiki info but like i said it's for those of you who don't know him. Thanks for all the fan input, pictures thanks to kyle's website and google. Wiki for the info. Thanks for reading this blog... next driver to be blogged is UNKNOWN. YOU DECIDE FANS!!! :)

Taking a ride with Kahne: From RPM to RBR and long ago.. Driver of the 4 Red Bull Racing Toyota Camry

Welcome back to my blog! I apologize for no Phoenix article yet, but it is coming. Rather i thought we'd do another blog about a driver and this time it's about Kasey Kahne. Yes the guy that makes girls go crazy and has a heck of a lot of skill. Yes, we can't go hang out and toss a beer back with him (water for us under 21 lol), but we can take a look into what Kasey has done over the years in racing and where he is now and what his plans are for 2011 and beyond. Also have some fan twitter opinions i will share on what people think about Kasey. Prepare yourself for a wild ride! We are going to take a ride with Kahne!

Well let's start at the beginning shall we? Kasey Kenneth Kahne ( born April 10, 1980) is a full-time NASCAR driver. He participates in the Sprint Cup SeriesNASCAR Nationwide Seriesand the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. He is the driver of the #4 [1] Red Bull Toyota Camry for Red Bull Racing Team. Kahne also drives the Nationwide Series #38Great Clips Chevy Impala for Turner Motorsports.
Off the track, Kahne is active in charitable work and is a member of the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation. He also owns his own race team,Kasey Kahne Racing, that competes in the World of Outlaws series, fielding two cars, one for Joey Saldana, and the other for Cody Darrah. His team also fields a car in the USAC Sprint Car Series for Brady Bacon, and in USAC midgets for Brad Sweet. Kahne is a two-time Skagit Speedway winner of the Annual Jim Raper memorial Dirt Cup (2002 and 2003), and holds the current record for the fastest lap at Skagit.

Kahne began racing open wheel sprint cars at Deming Speedway at 17 in Deming, Washington, before moving up to Skagit speedway in Alger, Washington, and then he moved to USAC. In 2001, Kahne made a trip to Pennsylvania where he won the season opener at the historic Williams Grove Speedway. He was hired by Steve Lewis, who had also employed future NASCAR drivers Jeff GordonJason LefflerTony Stewart, and Kenny Irwin, Jr. In his first year on the circuit, he was named Rookie of the Year, as well as winning the national midget championship. He continued to run USAC, as well as the Toyota Atlantic Series and the World of Outlaws.
Kahne made 20 starts in the Nationwide Series driving the #98 Channellock Ford Taurus for Robert Yates Racing. His best finish was a tenth-place finish at Cabela's 250. In 2003, he moved to the #38 Great Clips Ford for Akins Motorsports. He won his first pole at Michigan International Speedway and his first Nationwide race at the Ford 300. In 2004, he also made a pair of starts in the Craftsman Truck Series at Darlington Raceway and Homestead-Miami Speedway, driving the #2 Team ASE Racing Dodge Ram for Ultra Motorsports, winning both races.

Alright, yes this is the wikipedia form of Kasey's early career. I apologize for this, but i know some of my readers would not even know who i was talking about so i decided to do some copy and paste for a little memory. As for Kahne, he raced some Trucks and got 2 wins and 3 top tens. As for Nationwide he has earned:  8 poles, 57 tops tens, and 7 wins. Of course in Sprint Cup he has earned: 20 poles, 87 top tens, and 11 wins. Looking over all those stats you can for sure say that Kasey has some major skill! :) He is also known for winning the All-Start Race, and also being a Rookie of the Year.

Besides being a racer, Kasey is also very compassionate about charity work and getting to know fans. He has his group KKF (Kasey Kahne Foundation) and also does other charity work with Ronald McDonald home. He has done the 5K and more moments for fans to help him in his work and to be able to help out such amazing causes. Way to Go Kasey! :) Also he has a club, Klub Kahne. Joining does cost, but Kahne hosts events at his race shop in Moorseville, NC al the time. These fans get access and can go and get items autographed and have a good time with other fans, this is awesome doings by Kasey and all who aid him!

I asked some twitter fans online what their opinions on Kasey were and these are the results i obtained:
@racejunkie48
  " kk, he's a good driver hasn't had any luck..."
I agree one hundred percent, but I can totally see some good luck coming his way in 2011! Thank you for your input!

@kaseykahnefan4
 "lol a talented stud muffin with a big heart, great personality and can drive the heck out of a race car"
I like this a lot too lol! He does have a fantastic personality and you can see how much time he takes for fans and other events and such! Thanks for giving an opinion!

@Jess4JRNation "

My opinion of KK is he is a good driver but it seemed he was more competitive be 4 his knee surgeries & sponsorship move."

I totally agree Jess! He has the ability to be great, it may just take some time for him to get there. Best of luck to him in 2011! :) Thanks for a input!

@denver2u
"..KK is also a great person off the track, with his charities and he's, not afraid to drive the wheels off that car."
@denver2u also said
  "..KK is underrated as a driver, had lousy cars @ RPM, and I think he'll do well with RB n Hendrick..Great on the eyes too."
Thank you so much for speaking your mind! :) very very true! O:) For sure like the comment about the great eyes lol! :)

Overall i loved the comments they were wonderful, funny and just a good perspective on KK as a driver, and person. NOTE: THESE ARE FAN OPINIONS AND YOU SHOULD NOT BASH! :)

Well my final thoughts are this: Kasey Kahne is not only a driver of good looks, but a drive with the heart and soul to push through it all and make it work out. Props to Kasey on pushing through the toughest scenarios and making the best out of it all. Good Luck in 2011 in Red Bull Racing and good luck in 2012 with Hendricks!

Disclaimer: So i did get information off wiki, for the sake of those of you who read who have no idea who i am talking about lol! I will give credit, and please no hate comments they will be deleted ASAP! Next driver blog will be about Mr. Kyle Rowdy Busch
